international federation of collectors and associated services

information about this website

The Federation aims to provide a choice of collectors and business service providers in  all countries. In many cases due to the size of the Country required there will be subdivisions into States or Regions.

Collection and Credit Referencing Agencies work in many ways with different charging structures. Often Commission Rates will vary widely between Countries and can be very different from rates that may apply in your own country. In many cases having reached the front page for the country you are interested in, there will be choice of companies offering their services.

This website will help you find an agency located in your debtors country. This overcomes any language barrier and gives the additional benefits of local knowledge of the Laws and customs of the country.

From experience we have found that an agent located "on the doorstep" tends to concentrate the debtors mind about settling a debt!

The worst scenario is when you are thousands of miles away from your customer, he speaks a different language, and is ignoring  your calls and faxes. An agent who is located in your debtors' country and  can converse in the local language is more likely to achieve a successful collection.

In order to find an agent in the country you require click on the icon for the continent and follow the sequence to the country or state of your choice.

Companies are only admitted to become Members of IFCAS and the website having supplied details that have been validated by the Federation.

Whilst the Federation cannot guarantee the performance  of any Company, in order to establish their web pages they will have given details of any associations they subscribe to, and any licences they must hold for their country of operation, and given a signed undertaking that they only operate using Legal and ethical methods . Should any user of this Website have cause for complaint regarding a service provider please contact the Federation Secretary, who will investigate and attempt to mediate. If a complaint is upheld the Secretary will decide whether the provider can remain a Member of the Federation and maintain their Web pages.
